What happened to MelioraPOS?
Nothing you rely on has changed — it has grown. What started as a point of sale now runs credit, expenses, purchasing, books and online orders, so we renamed it MelioraBMP, the Business Management Platform. Your account, data and sign-in stay exactly the same.
Do I need special hardware?
No. MelioraBMP runs in the browser on any Android phone, iPhone, tablet or PC, and can be installed to the home screen. The phone camera scans barcodes; receipts print to Bluetooth mini-printers or share as PDF. Moniepoint and Paystack card terminals are supported if you have them.
What exactly works offline?
Cash sales, receipts and product lookup keep working without internet. Card, transfer and credit sales need a connection because they must be confirmed. Queued sales are sent when a cashier presses Synchronize.
Can I run more than one shop?
Yes. Set up stores, assign staff to them and switch between them from the top bar. Stock, sales and end-of-day figures are kept per store, and Operations adds transfer-before-buying suggestions across branches.
What happens when my subscription ends?
You get a 7-day grace period with a renewal reminder while the till keeps working. After that, the till pauses until you renew — your data is kept safe.
Can I change plans later?
Anytime. Start on Starter and move up to Business or Operations from the Billing page as you add staff, branches or an online store.
